Gazprom Neft H1 Net Profit Up 0.4%

OAO Gazprom Neft reported a 0.4% rise in its net profit for the first half. Its net profit for the period rose to 78.7 billion Russian rubles ($2.47 billion). However, analysts were expecting a profit of RUB30.3 billion. Its revenue surged 18.8% y/y to RUB579.2 billion, while adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) climbed 6.6% to RUB149.3 billion. Gazprom's capex rose 15.1% y/y to RUB62.3 billion.
