UPDATE: Dish Network Posts Drop In Q2 Profit

Dish Network (NASDAQ: DISH) posted a drop in its second-quarter profit.

Dish Network's quarterly net income declined to $225.7 million, or $0.50 per share, versus $334.8 million, or $0.75 per share, in the year-ago period.

Its revenue came in at $3.57 billion.

Dish Network lost 10,000 net subscribers in the quarter.

Dish Network shares closed at $30.67 yesterday.
