UPDATE: Aecom Posts Downbeat Q3 Profit

reported a weaker-than-expected third-quarter profit. Aecom's quarterly net income dropped to $69.4 million, or $0.63 per share, versus $73.8 million, or $0.62 per share, in the year-ago period. The number of outstanding shares declined 7% in the quarter. Analysts were expecting earnings of $0.64 per share in the quarter. Aecom shares closed at $15.98 yesterday.
