Reckitt Benckiser Posts Rise In Profit

Reckitt Benckiser PLC (OTC: RBGPY) posted an increase in its profit in the six months to June 30.
Reckitt Benckiser's net profit climbed 2.6% to GBP779 million ($1.22 billion) in the period, versus GBP759 million, in the year-ago period. Its revenue surged to GBP4.67 billion, versus GBP4.62 billion.
Reckitt Benckiser's second-quarter revenue dropped 1.1% to GBP2.31 billion, versus GBP2.34 billion.
Reckitt Benckiser shares closed at $11.20 on Friday.
