Nexen Posts Decline In Q2 Profit

Canada's Nexen

reported a drop in its second-quarter profit. Nexen's quarterly earnings fell to C$109 million, or 20 Canadian cents a share, versus C$252 million, or 48 Canadian cents a share, in the year-ago period. Nexen shares closed at $17.27 yesterday.
