eBay (NASDAQ: EBAY) posted better-than-expected second-quarter results. eBay shares jumped 5.22% to $42.57 in the after-hours trading session.
Analysts expect Unitedhealth Group (NYSE: UNH) to report its Q2 earnings at $1.19 per share on revenue of $27.34 billion. Unitedhealth Group shares rose 0.23% to $56.48 in after-hours trading.
International Business Machines (NYSE: IBM) posted a rise in its second-quarter profit and lifted its earnings forecast for the year. IBM shares IBM shares surged 2.82% to $193.55 in the after-hours trading session.
American Express (NYSE: AXP) posted a 1% rise in its second-quarter net profit. Its quarterly net income climbed to $1.34 billion, or $1.15 per share. Its revenue gained 5% to $8 billion. American Express shares dropped 0.81% to $57.82 in after-hours trading.
