Stocks To Watch For July 6

Some of the stocks that may grab investor focus today are:

Xyratex (NASDAQ: XRTX) reported better-than-expected fiscal second quarter results. Xyratex shares jumped 4.61% to $12.26 in after-hours trading.

Seagate Technology (NASDAQ: STX) issued downbeat revenue forecast for the June quarter. Seagate shares dipped 2.43% to $24.47 in the after-hours trading session.

Shares of OraSure Technologies (NASDAQ: OSUR) surged 10.41% yesterday after the US Food and Drug Administration approved its over-the-counter HIV testing kit. OraSure shares rose 0.30% to $13.40 in the after-hours trading session.

Haverty Furniture (NYSE: HVT) reported a 5% rise in its second-quarter sales. Haverty Furniture shares dropped 0.45% to $11.94 in after-hours trading.

Informatica (NASDAQ: INFA) issued downbeat Q2 forecast. It projects quarterly adjusted earnings of $0.27 to $0.28 per share on revenue of $188 million to $190 million. However, analysts were projecting earnings of $0.37 per share on revenue of $217.2 million. Informatica shares tumbled 25.62% to $32.26 in after-hours trading.
