UPDATE: Shaw Communications Q3 Profit Up 22%

Shaw Communications (NYSE: SJR) posted a 22% surge in its third-quarter profit.
Shaw Communications' quarterly net income from continuing operations climbed to C$248 million ($241.7 million), or 53 Canadian cents a share, versus C$203 million, or 45 Canadian cents a share, in the year-ago period.
Its revenue came in flat at C$1.28 billion.
Shaw Communications shares closed at $18.91 yesterday.
