Bertelsmann Posts Rise In Q1 Operating Profit

Bertelsmann AG reported around 72% rise in its net profit from continuing operations in the first quarter.

Its quarterly net profit from continuing operations climbed to EUR110 million. Revenue from continuing operations climbed around 5% y/y to EUR3.64 billion.

Bertelsmann's operating earnings before interest and taxes rose to EUR280 million from EUR248 million.
