Kloeckner Posts Q1 Loss

Kloeckner & Co SE reported a wider-than-expected first-quarter loss.

Kloeckner projects Q2 Ebitda between EUR50 million and EUR60 million.

Kloeckner posted a quarterly net loss of EUR10 million, versus a year-ago profit of EUR43 million. However, analysts were expecting a net loss of EUR0.8 million.

Its EBITDA fell to EUR45 million, from EUR104 million. Revenue climbed to EUR1.95 billion, from the EUR1.59 billion. Analysts were expecting revenue of EUR1.84 billion.
