EnBW Q1 Net Profit Surges 47%

German company EnBW Energie Baden-Wuerttemberg AG reported a rise in its net profit in the first quarter.

EnBW's quarterly net profit climbed 47% y/y to EUR561.5 million, while adjusted net profit dropped 1.7% y/y to EUR470.3 million.

Its adjusted EBITDA declined 4.4% to EUR914.8. However, sales gained 1.4% y/y to EUR5.11 billion.
