Boliden Posts Rise In Q1 Net Profit

reported a rise in its net profit for the first quarter. Boliden's quarterly net profit climbed to SEK1.09 billion, from SEK961 million. However, analysts were expecting a net profit of SEK922.4 million. Its sales gained to SEK10.32 billion, from SEK10.16 billion. However, analysts were expecting revenue of SEK10.03 billion. Boliden's operating profit climbed to SEK1.50 billion, from SEK1.36 billion, versus analysts' estimates of SEK1.44 billion.
