TIBCO Software (NASDAQ: TIBX) reported earnings yesterday, that came in just slightly above expectations.
Xyratex (NASDAQ: XRTX) reported earnings on Thursday. The company actually beat, but traded lower after revenue fell 18%.
Research in Motion (NASDAQ: RIMM) also reported earnings on Thursday. The Blackberry maker's earnings were poor, but in line with expectations. Most interesting was the company's announced management changes and openness to explore strategic opportunities, including a possible sale of the company.

Apple (NASDAQ: AAPL) nearly always sits atop this list. The company initiated a dividend last Monday and released its new iPad model earlier in the month.
VIVUS (NASDAQ: VVUS) may have seen increased chatter after the FDA stated that obesity drugs should be studied for heart risks. VIVUS is currently working on an obesity drug.
Best Buy (NASDAQ: BBY) reported earnings Thursday morning.
Google (NASDAQ: GOOG) is also a popular stock to discuss. Citigroup raised its price target on the tech giant to $750 per share from $680 earlier in the week.
