New World Resources Posts Downbeat Q4 Profit

New World Resources NV (OTC: NWFFF) posted a decline in its fourth-quarter net profit.

New World Resources' quarterly net profit dropped to EUR8.8 million, from EUR69.7 million in the year-ago period, versus analysts' estimates of EUR14.4 million. Its revenue fell to EUR391.6 million from EUR465.6 million, versus analysts' estimates of EUR393.8 million.

NWR proposed the final 2011 dividend oft EUR0.07 a share.
