Renault Posts 39% Decline In 2011 Net Profit

posted a 39% decline in its 2011 net profit. Renault's net profit for the period dropped to EUR2.14 billion, versus EUR3.49 billion in 2010, versus analysts' estimates of EUR2 billion. Renault's operating profit climbed to EUR1.24 billion, versus EUR635 million in 2010. Its revenue surged 9.4% to EUR42.63 billion.
