UPDATE: ACI Worldwide Posts Upbeat Q4 Profit

posted a better-than-expected quarterly profit. ACI Worldwide's fourth-quarter net income dropped to $23.9 million, or $0.70 per share, from $27.1 million, or $0.80 per share, in the year-ago period. Its revenue fell 4% to $135 million. However, analysts were expecting a profit of $0.69 per share on revenue of $129.5 million. ACI Worldwide projects 2012 revenue in the range of $490 million to $500 million, versus analysts' estimates of $497.6 million. ACI Worldwide shares fell 0.59% to $35.20 in pre-market trading.
