UPDATE: Omnicom Q4 Profit Rises 10%

Omnicom Group Inc (NYSE: OMC) reported a 10% rise in its fourth-quarter profit.

Omnicom's quarterly profit climbed to $271.9 million, or $0.96 per share, from $246.5 million, or $0.83 per share, in the year-earlier period. Its revenue surged 7.4% to $3.85 billion. However, analysts were expecting earnings of $0.95 per share and revenue of $3.80 million.

OMC shares closed at $48.02 yesterday.
