Hindalco Posts Decline In FQ3 Profit

India's Hindalco Industries (OTC: HNDNF) reported a 2% decline in its fiscal third quarter net profit.

Hindalco posted a quarterly standalone net profit of 4.51 billion rupees ($91 million), versus a year-ago net profit of 4.6 billion rupees. However, analysts were expecting a standalone net profit of 4.63 billion rupees.

Hindalco's net sales climbed 11.4% to 65.90 billion rupees.
