UPDATE: CNA Financial Reports Drop In Q4 Profit, Declares Quarterly Dividend

CNA Financial Corp (NYSE: CNA) reported a decline in its fourth-quarter net income.

CNA Financial's quarterly net income declined to $190 million, or $0.70 per share, from $302 million, or $1.09 per share, in the year-ago period. The company's net operating income came in at $0.71 per share. However, analysts were expecting earnings of $0.69 per share.

CNA Financial announced a quarterly dividend of $0.15 per share.

CNA Financial shares gained 2.60% to close at $29.16 on Friday.
