Majesco Entertainment Posts Wider Q4 Loss

Majesco Entertainment Co (NASDAQ: COOL) reported a wider fourth-quarter loss.

For the new-year, Majesco Entertainment expects adjusted earnings of $0.25 to $0.35 per share on revenue of $125 million to $140 million. However, analysts were expecting earnings of $0.46 per share on revenue of $141 million.

Majesco reported a quarterly loss of $3.9 million, or $0.10 per share, versus a year-ago loss of $1.5 million, or $0.04 per share. Its revenue climbed 7.5% to $25.1 million. Excluding certain items, the company posted a loss of $0.07 per share. Analysts were expecting a profit of $0.04 per share on revenue of $27 million.

Majesco Entertainment shares tumbled 14.43% to $2.55 in after-hours trading.
