Cavium Inc (NASDAQ: CAVM) lowered its revenue forecast for the fourth quarter. Cavium now expects Q4 revenue of $56 million to $57 million. CAVM shares dipped 5.90% to $26.80 in the after-hours trading session.
Wall Street expects Piedmont Natural Gas Co Inc (NYSE: PNY) to report its Q1 earnings at $1.18 per share. PNY shares gained 0.91% to close at $34.33 yesterday.
Anacor Pharmaceuticals Inc (NASDAQ: ANAC) announced its plans to sell as much as $50 million of stock, preferred stock or debt. ANAC shares gained 0.79% to close at $6.39 yesterday.
Steven A. Cohen's SAC Capital Advisors LP reported a 5.2% stake in Validus Holdings Ltd (NYSE: VR). VR shares rose 0.73% to close at $31.64 yesterday.
New York Times Co (NYSE: NYT) announced its plans to sell its regional news group to Halifax Media Holdings LLC for $143 million. NYT shares gained 0.11% to $7.77 in after-hours trading.
