TUI Travel Swings To Profit, Lifts Dividend Payout

TUI Travel PLC (OTC: TUIVY) swung to a profit for the fiscal year and lifted its dividend payout.

TUI Travel's revenue for the period rose to GBP14.69 billion, from GBP13.51 billion, in the year-ago period. Its pretax profit came in at GBP144 million, versus a year-ago loss of GBP73 million. It posted a net profit of GBP85 million, versus a year-ago loss of GBP123 million.

TUI Travel proposed a final dividend of 8 pence.
