UPDATE: LDK Solar Swings To Q3 Loss

LDK Solar Co (NYSE: LDK) swung to a Q3 net loss on Tuesday.

LDK Solar posted a quarterly loss of $114.5 million, or $0.87 an American depositary share, versus a year-ago net income of $93.4 million, or $0.72 per ADS. Its sales fell to $471.9 million from $675.6 million. However, analysts were expecting a loss of $0.43 per share on revenue of $543.8 million.

LDK projects Q4 revenue of $440 million to $520 million and $2.2 billion to $2.25 billion for the year. Analysts were expecting Q4 revenue of $535.9 million and $2.3 billion for the year.

LDK shares gained 0.35% to $2.84 in after-hours trading.
