SingTel Reports 1.2% Decline In FQ2 Net Profit

Singapore Telecommunications Ltd

reported a 1.2% drop in its fiscal second-quarter net profit. SingTel's quarterly net profit dropped to S$882 million, from S$892 million, in the year-ago period. However, analysts were expecting a net profit of S$894.7 million. SingTel's operating revenue climbed 3.9% y/y to S$4.61 billion from S$4.44 billion. SingTel shares closed at $24.40 yesterday.
