Stocks To Watch For October 12

Some of the stocks that may grab investor focus today are:

Wall Street expects PepsiCo Inc (NYSE: PEP) to report its Q3 EPS at $1.30 on revenue of $17.11 billion. PEP shares fell 0.05% to $60.92 in after-hours trading.

Alcoa Inc (NYSE: AA) reported downbeat quarterly profit. The company reported its quarterly earnings at $172 million, or $0.15 per share, up from $61 million, or $0.06 per share, in the year-ago period. Its sales climbed to $6.42 billion from $5.29 billion. However, analysts were expecting a profit of $0.22 per share on sales of $6.24 billion. Alcoa shares dipped 5.34% to $9.75 in after-hours trading.

Analysts expect Host Hotels & Resorts Inc (NYSE: HST) to report its Q3 profit at $0.17 per share on revenue of $1.11 billion. HST shares declined 1.13% to $11.36 in the after-hours trading session.

ADTRAN Inc (NASDAQ: ADTN) reported an 18% rise in its third quarter sales. ADTN's quarterly sales surged to $192,194,000, from $162,957,000, in the year-ago quarter. Its net income climbed to $36,213,000, from $32,084,000. ADTN shares surged 4.26% to close at $30.12 yesterday.

Analysts are expecting ASML Holding NV (NASDAQ: ASML) to have earned $1.09 per share on revenue of $2.01 billion in the third quarter. ASML shares dropped 2.19% to close at $36.17 yesterday.
