Some of the stocks that may grab investor focus today are:

Nike Inc (NYSE: NKE) reported a 15% rise in its fiscal first-quarter profit. The company's results beat Wall Street's expectations. Nike shares surged 5.38% to $88.71 in after-hours trading.

Wall Street expects KB Home (NYSE: KBH) to report a fiscal third-quarter loss at $0.16 per share on revenue of $390.4 million. KBH shares jumped 4.72% to $5.99 in the after-hours trading session.

McDonald's Corp (NYSE: MCD) announced its plans to lift its quarterly cash dividend from $0.61 per share to $0.70 per share. MCD shares gained 0.65% to $86.55 in after-hours trading.

Cavium Inc (NASDAQ: CAVM) lowered its third-quarter revenue forecast. CAVM shares dipped 11.89% to $27.50 in the after-hours trading session.

Hewlett-Packard Co (NYSE: HPQ) appointed former eBay CEO Meg Whitman as its president and chief executive, replacing Leo Apotheker. HPQ shares fell 0.66% to $22.65 in after-hours trading.
