CSC Wins $95 Million Contract

announced today that the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) awarded the company a contract to support its Pharmacy Data Transaction Service, which is part of the U.S. military health system TRICARE. The contract, which was awarded during CSC's fiscal 2011 second quarter, has a six month base and four option periods, for a total of 51 months, bringing the estimated total value to $95 million. Under the terms of the contract, the CSC team will continue to operate, maintain and enhance the PDTS. Since 1999, the CSC team has provided the design, development, maintenance, operation and defense information technology security certification and accreditation of the PDTS.
