Immucor Inc (NASDAQ: BLUD) reported its FQ2 earnings at $0.30 per share, up from $0.28 per share, in the year-ago quarter. The company's sales dropped 1% y/y to $81.5 million. However, analysts were expecting earnings of $0.27 per share on revenue of $80.3 million. BLUD shares surged 6.16% to $20.50 in after-hours trading.
Analysts expect KB Home (NYSE: KBH) to report a Q4 loss of $0.17 per share. KBH shares gained 0.35% to $14.38 in the after-hours trading session.
Xyratex Ltd (NASDAQ: XRTX) projects its adjusted Q1 earnings of $0.12 to $0.48 per share. The company projects its Q1 revenue of $355 million to $405 million. However, analysts estimated earnings of $0.44 per share on $367 million in revenue. XRTX shares dropped 9.46% to $15.50 in after-hours trading.
Saba Software Inc (NASDAQ: SABA) reported its Q2 non-GAAP profit of $0.02 per share, down from analysts' estimates of $0.07 per share. The company's revenue came in at $28.6 million, versus analysts' estimates of $29.1 million. Saba projected its FY non-GAAP profit of $0.10 to $0.15 per share, down from Wall Street's view of $0.30 per share. SABA's Board of Directors also authorized an increase of $5.0 million in its share buyback program. SABA shares dipped 12.12% to $5.51 in the after-hours trading session.
Liz Claiborne (NYSE: LIZ) lowered its projections for the fourth quarter and second half of 2010. The company now projects its Q4 adjusted operating loss to improve by about $10 million, down from its earlier forecast. The company's adjusted operating loss in the year-ago quarter was $15 million. For the second half of 2010, the company now projects its adjusted operating income between $40 million and $50 million, versus its earlier projections of $80 million. LIZ shares fell 16.67% to $5.75 in after-hours trading.
