The following are the M&A deals, rumors and chatter circulating on Wall Street for Friday, February 24, through Sunday, February 26, 2017:

Macdonald Dettwiler to Acquire Digitalglobe for $35.00/Share

The Deal:

MacDonald, Dettwiler and Associates Ltd. and DigitalGlobe Inc DGI announced Friday they have entered into a definitive merger agreement, under which MDA will acquire DigitalGlobe for $35.00 per share in cash and stock, in a deal valued at about $2.4 billion. Each DigitalGlobe common share will be exchanged for $17.50 in cash and 0.3132 MDA common shares.

The transaction is expected to close in H2 of 2017

Digitalglobe fell 8.22 percent to close at $31.25.

Hearing Spark Energy Exploring Sale

The Rumor:

Shares of Spark Energy Inc SPKE rose on a report from SparkSpread that the retail energy services company is considering a sale and has hired Morgan Stanley as an advisor. Spark Energy on Thursday announced it was moving ahead the release of their Q4 earnings from March 9 to March 3.

Spark Energy closed at $27.25, up 6.65 percent.

Dealreporter Reports ConAgra Could Acquire Pinnacle Foods

The Rumor:

ConAgra Brands Inc CAG shares rose on a report it could acquire Pinnacle Foods Inc PF, according to sources. Pinnacle announced Q4 earnings on Thursday.

Pinnacle Foods closed at $57.50 on Friday, up 1.43 percent.
