Trump's Travel Likely Cost Taxpayers $10 Million In One Month - Nearly As Much As Obama's Yearly Average

President Donald Trump, who criticized his predecessor former President Barack Obama for spending too much on travel, is all set to outspend Obama in less than one year.

A report from the Washington Post estimates the president's Florida trips have probably cost the Federal Treasury about $10 million already, just 34 days in office.

On the other hand, Obama's average travel spend came in at $12.1 million during each of his eight years in the White House. In total, the travel bill during Obama's presidency came to $97 million.
