The following are the M&A deals, rumors and chatter circulating on Wall Street for Wednesday, January 18, 2017.

ServiceNow Acquires DxContinuum

The Deal:

ServiceNow Inc NOW announced it has agreed to acquire machine learning company DxContinuum in an all-cash transaction. Terms were not disclosed.

ServiceNow closed Wednesday at $82.85, up 1.77 percent.

Handelsblatt Says Boehringer May Target Zoetis

The Rumor:

Boehringer Ingelheim is targeting a potential acquisition of animal health company Zoetis Inc ZTS, according to Germany's Handelsblatt. Boehringer board member Joachim Hasenmaier told Handelsblatt that the company is looking for market leadership in the animal health segment.

Bayer BAYRY is said to have also considered Zoetis as a potential takeover target.

Zoetis closed at $53.30 on Wednesday, up $0.18.

Google Acquires Fabric from Twitter

The Deal:

Fabric announced an agreement for Fabric to be acquired by Google GOOGL from Twitter Inc TWTR. Terms were not disclosed.

Fabric is a platform that allows mobile teams to build apps.

Google closed at $829.02 on Wednesday, up $1.56.

Takeover Chatter in Mead Johnson

The Rumor:

Shares of Mead Johnson Nutrition CO MJN spiked higher on unconfirmed market chatter of a potential bid from Nestle NSRGF. Mead Johnson has been the subject of takeover chatter in the past, with France's Danone DANOY also mentioned as a potential suitor.

Mead Johnson closed at $75.25 on Wednesday, up 5.33 percent.
