Tiffany Hires Former Canadian Pacific CFO To Head Its Finance

Tiffany & Co. TIF revealed that it hired a former Canadian Pacific CFO, Mark Erceg, to head its finance department. As EVP and CFO, he would be held responsible for functions of its worldwide financial, indirect procurement and information technology. He will assume the position October 18.

The jewelry and specialty retailer indicated Erceg would be located in New York and would report to CEO, Frederic Cumenal. His appointment comes after the company's former CFO left in May last to pursue a position at another company.

Erceg worked in Canadian Pacific Railway Limited since May 2015. He held the same position between 2010 and 2015 at Masonite International Corporation. He started his career at  Procter & Gamble in 1992, serving more than 18 years in finance, market strategy, customer response, general management and global investor relations.

Cumenal said, "As the new leader of our multi-talented finance, procurement and information technology organizations, his varied experience and global perspective will be important as we continue to work toward strengthening Tiffany's luxury brand position around the world and enhancing our profitability and productivity."

The stock closed at $68.30 on Monday.
