Intersil May Announce Sale to Renesas as Early as Next Week
The Rumor:
Intersil Corp ISIL could announce a deal to be acquired by Renesas Electronics as early as next week, according to sources as reported by Reuters on Wednesday. The sources said Intersil would select Renesas over Maxim Integrated Products MXIM. Maxim still could submit a revised offer.
Intersil closed Wednesday at $19.74, up 7.63%
Infoblox Said to be in Talks to Sell Itself
The Rumor:
Infoblox Inc BLOX is said to be in the process of selling itself, according to sources as reported by Reuters on Wednesday. Intersil is said to have received takeover interest from private equity firms, including Thoma Bravo, the sources said. Infoblox declined comment on the rumor. Thoma Bravo had not responded to a request for comment.
Infoblox closed at $21.46 on Wednesday, up 6.55%.
Interactive Intelligence To Be Acquired By Genesis for $60.50/Share
The Deal:
Genesys and Interactive Intelligence Group Inc. ININ announced Wednesday, that they have entered into a definitive agreement under which Genesys will acquire Interactive Intelligence for $60.50 per share in cash, in transaction valued at approximately $1.4 billion. The transaction is expected to close by the end of the year, subject to regulatory approval and approval by Interactive Intelligence shareholders.
Interactive Intelligence closed at $59.85 on Wednesday, up 5.61%.
