Vans Launches Exclusive Partnership With Nordstroms
The partnership launched August 5 at eight stores and online, and will be called "Pop in @ Nordstroms x Vans." With the help of Nordstrom's vice president of creative projects, Olivia Kim, Vans is producing exclusive shoes, apparel, and accessories under the new partnership.
"We wanted to create something that feels special, unique, and exclusive to Nordstrom. Sneakers don't have to be so casual anymore – it's a fashion statement at this point. I think by using these elements that seem high-end, we're elevating the shoes even further," said Kim in a recent BallerStatus article.
The Pop-In@Nordstrom x Vans collection is available at Nordstrom locations below and online:
- The Grove — Los Angeles
- Downtown Seattle — Seattle
- Bellevue Square — Bellevue, Wash.
- San Francisco Center — San Francisco
- Michigan Avenue — Chicago
- North Park Center — Dallas
- Tysons Corner Center — McLean, Va.

Vans' Global Business
Vans' global revenue was up 6 percent in VF Corp's second quarter. The brand has recently partnered with Nintendo Co., Ltd (ADR) (OTC: NTDOY) to launch a line of exclusive products highlighting the video game producer's iconic heritage. Vans also celebrated its 50th anniversary this year. The company is seeing strong growth in Asia with direct-to-consumer purchases in Asia for Vans up 30 percent in Q2 and revenues in the low double-digit range.
VF Corp closed Friday's regular trading session up 2.10 percent at $62.16.
Nordstrom closed up 3.67 percent at $43.55.
