Joy Global Inc. JOY shares moved up 17.6 percent to $27.70. The volume of Joy Global traded was 1436 percent higher than normal. Komatsu Ltd. agreed to acquire the company for around $2.9 billion.
IMAX Corporation (USA) IMAX shares climbed 12.3 percent to $33.83. The volume of IMAX shares traded was 773 percent higher than normal. IMAX reported better-than-expected quarterly results.
Del Taco Restaurants Inc TACO shares rose 11 percent to $10.88. The volume of Del Taco shares traded was 443 percent higher than normal. Del Taco Restaurants reported Q2 earnings of $0.13 per share on revenue of $100.02 million.
