Sprint Waives Charges To Taiwan Following Typhoon Nepartak

Sprint Corp S said it is waiving charges for international calls, as well as, SMS to Taiwan for all Sprint, Boost and Virgin Mobile customers and international roaming voice and SMS charges while in Taiwan for all its customers following Typhoon Nepartak.

Sprint CEO Marcelo Claure said, "Our thoughts and prayers are with the people of Taiwan. As always, we want to do everything possible to show support for those impacted and their loved ones here in the US by allowing them to stay in contact without incurring fees."

At time of writing, Sprint shares were up 2.97 percent on the day at $4.68.
