Air Products Granted Contract With Vizient For Medical Gases

Air Products APD recently reached a supplier contract deal with Vizient Inc, the biggest member-owned healthcare company in the country. According to the company, becoming an approved Vizient supplier provided it the opportunity to supply its medical gases at negotiated pricing to Vizient's membership of academic medical centers, pediatric facilities, community hospitals, integrated health delivery networks, and non-acute healthcare providers who access the Vizient contract portfolio.

Air Products' senior account manager, Medical, Sheryl Caswell, commented, "We are pleased to be aligned with a trusted organization like Vizient. We look forward to serving new customers with our usual high quality and reliability of service and showing them that with Air Products as their medical gas supplier, they can count on getting the medical gases they need, at the required purities, with worry-free service."

Air Products is a supplier of medical gas to more than 30 production facilities in the U.S., providing a variety of safe and reliable delivery options to match each customer's specific requirements.

The stock traded 1.4 percent up on Monday.
