Whirlpool And Innit Allign To Take Connected Kitchen To The Next Level

Whirlpool Corporation WHR and Innit revealed that both have reached a partnership to bring a new layer of food intelligence to support people eat and live better. Whirlpool said that its connected cooking appliances, starting with Jenn-Air brand WiFi connected ovens, would offer the Innit platform to allow advanced automated cooking and dynamic digital recipes to help people cook more at home.

The companies indicated that Innit- empowered appliances, as well as apps give consumers a way to access thousands of digitized recipes, based on personalized dietary and taste preferences. The company added that consumers would be guided by intuitive step-by-step preparation instructions, and with just a few clicks, would be able to cook with chef-level quality on their Jenn-Air connected oven.

With no guesswork, Cooking is tailored to the weight, temperature and type of food, helping ensure great results. In step with its position as an industry leader, the white goods company is gearing up for a market on the cusp of higher demand for intuitive, connected home appliances.
