Numerous Apple Inc. AAPL fanboys jumped for joy Monday as the company announced something that many have been waiting years for: The opportunity to remove un-deletable iPhone apps on the Home screen.

The Calculator, Calendar, Compass, FaceTime, iBooks, Maps and Weather, just to name a few, can now be taken off the Home screen. In total, Apple made available 23 apps that can be deleted from an iPhone's main screen.

The update won't do much for iPhone user's memory; as a Buzzfeed article from late Monday highlighted, removing all 23 of the apps will only save about 150MB. It's more of an aesthetic thing which will allow users to keep their Home as clean as possible.
