SAP Updates Its SAP HANA Cloud Platform To Speed Up Customer Cloud Adoption

revealed Wednesday the Spring 2016 edition of SAP HANA Cloud Platform, which is an updated version. According to the company, it included a range of new capabilities, as well as, features allowing organizations to speed up their digital transformation and better integrate and extend their SAP software environments. SAP said that its SAP HANA Cloud Platform offered a quick, reliable and simple platform-as-a-service to build entirely new cloud apps, extend current on-premise and cloud apps, and integrate cloud apps with SAP customers' digital core. The company made this announcement at the 28th annual SAPPHIRE® NOW conference. The company's EVP and corporate officer, Bjorn Goerke, said that "It's crucial for our broad ecosystem of customers and partners to drive transformation and innovation in the cloud. The latest updates to SAP HANA Cloud Platform give companies the flexibility, choice and efficiencies needed to innovate and drive growth across their entire business." SAP said that innovations in the spring edition included an app programming interface (API) hub, prebuilt extensions for apps based on SAP S/4HANA, improvements to the extension package for SAP SuccessFactors solutions in SAP HANA Cloud Platform, new lines of business and mobile apps from partners, apart from added services for SAP HANA Cloud Platform. The stock traded 0.04 percent up on Wednesday.
