T-Mobile's Binge Has More Than 80 Video Services Stream Free Without Data Use

T-Mobile TMUS President and CEO, John Legere, has a knack of understanding the pulse of its customers as it covered its customers with its latest Binge On expansion. According to the company, commencing from May 17, NBC, Univision, Qello Concerts and more were all joining Binge On.

T-Mobile also indicated that popular Music Freedom services such as Google Play Music, Radio Disney, Spotify and TIDAL were bringing their growing video libraries to Binge On. Therefore, its T-Mobile customers could stream both music, as well as video without burning up their high speed data.

The telecom service provider amped up its latest signature moves for the fifth time after launching it in November last year. The company added that its customers on qualifying plans could stream unlimited video from a total of over 80 video providers without using their high-speed data.

T-Mobile'S Legere viewed, "Binge On is a success, and our customers absolutely love it!. In the six months since we launched Binge On, the number of video providers streaming free without using your data has grown more than 240%. We've got something for everyone, and customers never have to worry about getting slammed with ridiculous overage penalties. I hope Dumb and Dumber just keep pushing their mobile video schemes, it just gives consumers more and more reason to come to T-Mobile!"

The company indicated that in just six months, Binge On has changed its customers watch mobile video. The telecom firm said that recent numbers underscored both how positively Americans were responding to innovations like Binge On and how Binge On has fundamentally changed video consumption. The company pointed out that 92 percent of its surveyed customers said that they would watch more video on Binge On while 93 percent said that they liked the idea of having all video maximized to DVD quality. Its customers streamed over 377 million hours of video without using their data.

Shares of the company traded 1.8 percent higher on Tuesday.
