General Electric Reveals Three New Officers Appointment

disclosed that it made three appointments effective May 1. According to the company, it would have 190 officers globally, who lead large revenue-generating businesses or are in critical technology or functional roles, supporting to drive growth. General Electric said that Linda Boff, who joined in 2003, was promoted to VP, Chief Marketing Officer. He held a series of leadership roles in the company, as well as, NBC Universal. She was a New York Women in Communications' Matrix award winner for 2016, as well as, one of FastCompany's Most Creative People, and an Advertising Women of New York's Changing the Game award winner. Another elevation was Patrick Brown, who was promoted to VP, tax for GE Power, GE Energy Connections, and GE Renewable Energy. The company indicated that he joined in 2002 and held several leadership roles. That included Senior Executive, Tax at GE Power and Senior Counsel at GE Corporate Tax. The third appointment was Steve Meszaros as its VP of supply chain, China, for GE Global Growth Organization. GE said that before joining the company last year through its acquisition of Alstom Power & Grid, Steve was the Senior Vice President for the Gas Business at Alstom Power. He was also the Product Group President, Electronics & Interiors at Visteon Corporation. Shares of the company traded 0.94% higher on Friday.
