RLI Corp. RLI said that its board has declared a regular cash dividend of $0.20 per share for the second quarter. According to the company, the latest dividend represented a $0.01 increase from the prior quarter.
RLI said that the dividend would be payable on June 20 to its shareholders. The company has fixed the record date as May 31 to determine the shareholders name. The company claimed that it paid dividends for 160 straight quarters and boosted the dividends in each of the last 41 years.
The company's dividend yield would be 1.27 percent based on the yesterday's closing stock price of $63.07. On an annualized basis, the dividend worked out to $0.80 a share. The dividend payout ratio was around 88 percent.
On Thursday, the stock traded 1.35 percent higher.
