Cheniere Energy, Inc. (NYSE: LNG) shares are trading lower by $1.96 in Wednesday's session. Investors are fleeing the issue as Jim Chanos discusses his bearish thesis for the company at the Sohn Conference currently underway.

After a higher open, it cleared Tuesday's close of $37.37, reaching $37.74 before sharply reversing course. So far, the issue has swooned to $35.03 and is struggling to distance itself from that level.

The current low coincides with its April 18 low of $35.10, as well as its April 11 low of $34.91.
