W. R. Berkley Corporation WRB revealed senior appointments within its newly created high net worth personal lines business. Accordingly, Kevin Hogan was appointed as senior vice president and COO while Susan Vella was appointed as SVP - customer experience. Another person, Christoph Ritterson, was designated as VP - marketing.
W. R. Berkley said all the three executives would report to corporate SVP, Kathleen Tierney, who would oversee the new business unit. The company clarified that the appointments were effective immediately.
The company's CEO and President Robert Berkley, Jr. said, "We continue to build out our high net worth personal lines operation with talented individuals who can deliver best-in-class products and a superior customer experience in collaboration with the best agents in the business. We welcome Kevin, Susan and Christoph to the group and look forward to their contributions as we develop a platform that will set us apart in this unique specialty market."
W. R. Berkley said the three persons have more than two and half decades of experience in the high net worth personal lines business.
On Wednesday, the stock traded 0.67 percent higher.
