Northrop Grumman To Demonstrate Innovative Solutions For Army's Future Aviation

Northrop Grumman Corporation NOC revealed it would demonstrate a complete range of solutions aimed at providing best-value enhancements, as well as game-changing capabilities at the Army Aviation Association of America (AAAA) Mission Solutions Summit. According to the company, the event would be held between April 28 and 30 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta.

Northrop Grumman said that its booth 938 would highlight tailored enhancements that help preserve command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (C4ISR) dominance. The company indicated that it would also expand mission capabilities and establish tomorrow's solutions for today's Army aviation force.

The company indicated the booth would be its digital helicopter cockpit and integrated avionics solutions. It was derived from the U.S. Army's UH-60V Black Hawk program, the system provided an affordable, integrated suite of avionics equipment. The system's integrated architecture could be applied to several platforms and sustained through a single software package.

Northrop Grumman stated that among the multifunction/multiplatform solutions on display would be the Common Infrared Countermeasures (CIRCM) system. The company added it would be a lightweight and highly reliable laser-based countermeasure system, which was designed to integrate and operate with legacy and emerging missile warning systems for rotary wing.

On Tuesday, the stock traded higher by 0.9 percent.
