Sprint Offers Service Credit Of Maximum $50 A Device In Flood Affected Areas

revealed that it was helping the local customers of Houston area, who were affected by the recent week-long rain. As part of it, the company would offer a service credit of maximum of $50 per device for a limited time. The telecom service provider advised its customers to visit its store to get the credit. The company's Central Region President, John Stevens, said that "Sprint is an integral part of the Houston community, so it's important to us that we step in and do our part to help." He added that "One of the best ways we can help demonstrate our commitment to Houston is by providing some relief to Sprint customers and our employees who are affected by the devastation." Moreover, the company indicated that the impacted customers would get a maximum of 50% discounts on select charging accessories from April 21, 2016 until May 4, 2016. The company said that it was helping to collect food donations in its stores across Houston in support of Kids' Meals on Wheels which is still providing meals and deliveries to families as the city continues to recover from this tragedy. On Friday, the stock traded 2.58% higher.
