CA Technologies Hires Darlan Monterisi As SVP Of Corporate Communications (CA)

revealed that it hired Darlan Monterisi as its SVP of Corporate Communications effective May 9. According to the company, he would be located in New York and would report to Chief Marketing Officer, Lauren Flaherty. The company indicated that Monterisi would responsible for overseeing its global corporate communications function apart from stewarding a highly integrated approach to delivering its corporate and product messages to key audiences. CA Technologies Flaherty said that "Darlàn brings a rare combination of expertise to this important role, including a deep understanding of our category and customer mind-set, along with an appreciation for the importance of cross-channel engagement. I am thrilled to have an executive of Darlàn's caliber join the team and know that her expertise and leadership will help us take our corporate communications programs to a new level." Monterisi joins the company with years of experience in overseeing the American, as well as, global communications and public affairs programs. He said that "CA is making strategic moves in marketing and communications. The company recognizes and values what strong programs in these areas can drive for the business, and it's a great time to be joining the team." Shares of the company traded 0.98% higher on Thursday.
