American Eagle Outfitters Join Initiatives With Student Associate To Donate Trees

American Eagle Outfitters AEO joined hands with the Student Conservation Association to launch a unique ‘Buy One, Get One Tree' campaign. The objective was to donate a maximum of 100,000 trees in celebration of Earth Day, according to the company.

American Eagle Outfitters Said that for each pair of AEO Denim X, as well as Flex Shorts purchased in the weeklong promotion, the company would donate $1 to get a tree planted through the student association. The company extended the offer in over 800 of its stores in the America and Canada apart from online that started on Friday.

The company's Global Brand President, Chad Kessler, said "Our 'Buy One, Get One Tree' campaign provides a rare opportunity to make both a fashion and an ecological statement". He added "American Eagle Outfitters shares our customers' passion for the outdoors and preservation of our natural resources. We are always delighted to support SCA in its mission of empowering the next generation of conservation leaders."

American Eagle Outfitters' Kessler continued to say "Buy One, Get One Tree" marked the ninth year of the partnership.

On Friday, the stock traded down by 0.31 percent.
