Versar Gets Two Task Orders For $4.6 Million

Versar Inc. VSR said it was awarded with two task orders on behalf of a number of clients within the Army Reserve in the United States. According to the company, the order is valued about $4.6 million.

Versar said it has been served with a task order extension that is worth $3.5 million. Additionally, the company has been provided with Engineering and Environmental technical program to help the 88th Reserve Support Command.

The company's CEO Tony Otten said, "We are very pleased to be able to provide continued services to several long-standing clients within the U.S. Army Reserve. These task orders will enable the Company to undertake more significant work on behalf of both the 88th RSC as well as ARIMD and we're eager to undertake increasingly challenging projects on behalf of both entities."

Versar also received an additional $1.1 million task order renewal continuing its support of the Real Property Planning and Army Stationing and Installation Plans technical program for the Army Reserve Installation Management Directorate (ARIMD).

Shares of the company recorded a loss of 2.26 percent on Monday.
